| With the development of the society and the increase of people’s consumption on energy, the energy shortage has been a big problem to our society for a long time. Nowadays, as a kind of rich and abundant energy source, the shale gas is mined and exploited actively in China. In the process of development, the oil-based mud must be applied to drilling, which causes a great deal of oil drilling cuttings. Improper disposal of these oily cuttings would make serious damage surrounding environment. In addition, the development of shale gas is mainly done in Sichuan province and Chongqing, which are densely populated areas where people’s health should be taken into consideration. The existing treatment process has a lot of drawbacks, such as waste of resources, environment pollution and long processing cycle. Therefore, it has been a priority to study and improve the treatment process of drilling cuttings systematically.Aimed at exploring a treatment process of drilling cuttings of high efficiency, energy saving and friendly to the environment, this paper applies the microwave to the process and systematically analyzes the drilling cuttings in microwave radiation:(1) Through the study of oily cuttings working mechanism of microwave thermal desorption, the difference of treatment mechanism between oily drilling cuttings and conventional drying.(2) The factors of desorption efficiency of oily drilling cutiings are explored. The results shows that function time of microwave mainly concentrates on the initial stage of reaction, so prolonging the time has no benefit to high efficiency; the microwave field density has great effluence on treatment efficiency; a proper increase of the amount of the drilling cuttings can improve the utilization ratio.(3) Suggestions are made according to experiment results to optimize the treatment effects. Design experiments to confirm the hypothesis that controlling the initial states of drilling cuttings by using dry matter.(4) The effect of microwave thermal desorption is testified through thermogravimetric analysis on drilling cuttings.(5) The hypothesis of drilling fluid recycling is proved with the analysis of solid and liquid products from thermal desorption respectively, and differentiated treatment requirements of solid waste are posed.(6) Based on experiment results, aimed at industrial application, this paper has made a conceptual design on experiments of microwave thermal descorption to oily drilling cuttings, indicating the direction for further study.Through adjusting quality of oil cuttings and optimizing the treatment process, the treatment efficiency of microwave thermal desorption with oily cuttings has greatly improved. The test shows, the percentage of oil in after-treatment oil cuttings reaches0.4364%. This result is considerably lower than1%oil cuttings in related legal regulations, and even less than present highest standard (0.5%)... |
