| This paper mainly describes the conception, origin, development and classification of Abstract pattern & Modern Cheongsam. Abstract pattern can be divided into geometrical patterns, random patterns, changing patterns and texture pattern, as the similar Modern Cheongsam can be divided into modern Chinese style, modern Elegant style, modern minimalist style, modern Erogenous style, modern Pastoral style and the Modern style. Meanwhile, the significance of Abstract pattern to modern clothes and modern cheongsam can be described by application of entirety and details.
