The water-based acrylic resin is becoming the main material of waterborne wood paint. but only use waterborne acrylic resin is hard to meet the performance requirements of the practical application. The main reason is that the water-soluble acrylic resin was hard to meet the quality of high gloss, high hardness, low water absorption and low film-forming temperature. This paper is Studied in the two aspects:one is the Structure of the latex particles and the other is the composition of latex particles. In order to prove the quality of the latex partipcles, this paper has introduce the functional monomer.(1) By the use of semi continuous seed emulsion polymerization method, this paper has discussed the amount of initiator, emulsifier, monomers, and the amount of functional monomer by group discussions, getting the best process; This paper has introduced a "particle design" idea,and the experiment was carried out in three Steps: the seed emulsion preparation, the nuclear emulsion preparation, at last the core-shell structure emulsion particles were getted. The best dosage of initiator, emulsion, acrylic acid monomer is 0.4%,3%,2.5%(the percentage of total amount of the monomer quality), soft and hard monomer ratio was 1:1, Stirring speed is 200 rpm,in this way can get the latex particles with core-shell Structure.(2) In order to reduce the coSt, this paper introduced the hard monomer Styrene(St) to replace part of the higher co St of methyl methacrylate(MMA), the experiment results show that when the Styrene content was 4% of the total mass(nuclear layer with 1%, shell with 3%), the film of emulsion is in a better quality.(3) For the sake of improving the coating quality, This paper has introducted of crosslinking systems: GMA/AA, N-MA/AA and DAAM/ADH. latex particles with semi interpenetrating network Structure was made by the orthogonal test, the functional groups on the latex particle surface can be generated under the room temperature.(4) By FT-IR analysis has showed that the DAAM and AHD has racted; the TMA has showed the glass transition temperature of the coating is 18℃; by particle size analyzer has showed that the average of particle size is 98 nm.;by TEM analysis has showed that the latex particles with core-shell. |
