| The third generationtechnology for catalytic cracking dry gas to generateethylbenzene were common developed by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Fushun Petrochemical Company and HQC(Liaoning) Company.The third generation technology used gas phase alkylation reaction and liquid phase transalkylation reaction, which were conducted in two reactors,respectively.The reactors filled with molecular sieve catalyst.The technology has unique advantages in generating ethylbenzene.In this paper, basing on the systematic literature research, the whole unit is simulated by using process simulation software PRO/â…¡ For the third generation technology for catalytic cracking dry gas to generate ethylbenzene. Mathematical models of core equipment for the technology are established, andthe Soave-Redich-Kwong equation inside the software is also selected. Basing on this situation, whole simulation for the technology is researched, and relevant operating conditionsinfluencing on the yield of target product ethyl benzene are investigated. After that, the whole process is optimized and obtains the global optimal operation strategy. Research results show that the model can accurately simulate the process for dry gas to generate ethylbenzene, and comparing the simulated resultsof whole unit process with actual results tallies well. |
