Metal heat treatment technology is not only an important foundation for the machinery industry, but also the basic industries of the country, it can be said heat treatment is closely related to our lives. However, it took quite a long time for people to recognize it:as the heat treatment affect on the intrinsic quality of the product, normally it does not change the shape of products, people can’t feel its necessity intuitively. But the intrinsic quality of the work product will cause serious distortion and cracking sometimes and damage the sufrace quality and dimensional accuracy of products. With the development of the computer industry, domestic heat treatment industry has introduced some of the high-level equipments recent years, including the introduction of devices with integrated PLC control. These devices replace the original control method which only relied on the eye to determine the quality of product.This article focuses on the design of control fundamental and correlation detection method of the new controlled atmosphere generator (Direct Injection, D.I.). This paper first introduces the research background of the subject. Comparing with the various controlled atmosphere generator produce principle and its advantages and disadvantages, we propose a new controlled atmosphere generator program. Then combine with gas flow control, catalysts temperature control and gas analysis systems to further elaborate it. By precise control of Siemens PLC, automatic continuous gas ratio control and temperature control, solve the system problems which only depends on operator’s experience. Meanwhile simplifying the operator’s labor intensity, stable product quality, further reducing costs. In the last, the paper once again proved the significance of this study and practice effects by various indicators of actual production data analysis. We also compare with other generators in terms of economy (investment costs and operating costs), demonstrating its practical significance of specific operational.
