Carbon slag is a kind of waste product in the aluminum electrolytic industry. It contains more than sixty percent electrolyte except for thirty percent carbon. Electrolyte can be recycled and used in the aluminum electrolysis Due to high efficiency and high intensity combustion of fluidized bed combustion, and deficiencies of existing treatment technology extracting electrolyte from electrolytic aluminum carbon slag, bubbling fluidized bed is proposed in this paper as an new idea for recycling carbon slag.In this paper, the feasibility of using fluidized bed processing carbon residue was proved by XRD analysis and using the differential thermal analysis method to explore the nature of the carbon residue, which combined with the fixed bed and carbon residue burning experiments verifying the theoretical feasibility, It concluded that fluidized combustion technology could be used to recycle aluminum carbon residue in the range of 565-734 ℃.It has designed the fluidization cold experimental model for processing carbon residue and adopted the cowl wind plate type cloth for analyzing the different cap arrangement structure and opening rate of convection ventilation board quality. It optimized the design for follow-up experiments cloth wind plate. It focused on the initial bed height and the particle size of carbon slag, and the impact of fluidization convection velocity.Using fluent software to establish the three dimensional steady and unsteady cold experimental model through the numerical simulation showed comparison among different cloth wind plate, and simulated the influence of the initial bed height cold experiment, carbon residue, fluidization velocity, particle size convection on the fluidization quality. It explained the cold experiment of the specific process parameters for using in the hot state experiment.The cold experimental model was established for using fluidized bed processing carbon slag thermal state experiment model according to the proportion of 1:1. Hot state experimental research was conducted by cold experiment and numerical simulation of fluidization parameters for recycling carbon residue. It explored the fluidized bed combustion efficiency, flue gas emission characteristics and mechanism of furnace temperature distribution, etc.Through the above simulation and experimental research, this paper analyzed the concrete laboratory research plan to use bubbling fluidized bed for recycling aluminum electrolyte from electrolytic carbon slag. And in this paper, it provided certain insufficient and construction suggestions.
