Laser beam machining, which has unique processing way and technological advantages, has been widely used in industrial production. With the development of texturing technology, shot blasting technology, electrical discharge texturing technology, electron beam texturing technology, ink jet texturing technology and laser texturing technology etc various texturing technology have appeared subsequently. Various texturing technology has its own advantages, but comparison, laser texturing technology has more excellent texturing performance. Because the laser texturing process is very short, the temperature field and flow field of metal fluid in molten pool change very rapidly, if adopt experiment to measure the change of the temperature field and flow field, there must be a lot of difficulties, but the rapid development of computer technology provide a solid foundation for the development of numerical simulation technology. Numerical simulation technology has become the main means to study laser molten pool temperature field and flow field, via simulation result to study the influence trend of texturing process parameters on the texturing effect, which provides the necessary theoretical support and practical application value for the optimization of the texturing process.This paper adopts numerical simulation software FLUENT to simulate the laser texturing machining process, focusing on how can the laser power, pulse width, the scanning speed effect the texturing pits morphology, and the motion state of internal metal molten pool. This paper mainly research on the following aspects:Introduce the development history and research status of the laser texturing technology, elaborated this article research significance and the main research content.Analysis the function of roll material absorb laser in Laser texturing machining procession, studies on the thermal effect of laser texturing process, through the reasonable simplification, Given the analytic form of the molten pool temperature field distribution, and preliminary studies on laser texturing pool insides’Natural convection and Marangoni convection problems.Establish the model of molten pool of laser texturing process, according to the model given boundary conditions, Treatment of source term and numerical simulation of related parameters. Adopt the Gauss laser source as the heat source model, select different laser texturing process parameters carry on the texturing temperature field numerical simulation, and using the single factor alternate method discusses laser power, pulse width, the scanning speed influence trend on texturing craters morphology. According to the change trend, select a set of more reasonable processing parameters to simulate, simulation the motion state of the liquid metal in molten pool.The simulation results show, using numerical simulation technology to study the processing technology of laser hair, According to the actual situation carrying out the second exploitation of the software can further improvement the simulation accuracy and get more consistent results with the actual, for the further development of laser texturing laying the foundation.
