With the development of the Shijiazhuang city, pharmaceutical factory of this project in area of second ring is now surrounded by roads and residential zone(the nearest residential area is only 200 meters apart). A lot of work including sealing up all exposure units by fiber membrane, adding wind sets, building a treatment facilities of alkali absorption by this pharmaceutical factory according to this situation. The treatment of this method effect is remarkable, exhaust gas after dealing with this method may easily reach the national standard of odor pollutants(GB14554-93). However, human body is very sensitive to hydrogen sulfide and other peculiar smell because of the low gas smell threshold. The odor gas pollution has been report by many times and seriously affected the living environment of the surrounding residents.The odor gas produced in the process of wastewater treatment in a pharmaceutical factory has been studied in this research. Biological method and sodium alkali absorption has been set up based on analysis the components of the odor gas and investigation on the wastewater treatment process and method for organic pollutants in the pharmaceutical waste gas. The odor gas treatment effect is good and the treatment effect of hydrogen sulfide and ammonia is more stable. The experimental parameters and results are as follows: volume of air 1000m3/h, addition of compound biological bacterium 40~60m3/m2, contact time of 60 s,a verage hydrogen sulfide treatment efficiency of 98.06%(maximum 99.36%), ammonia treatment efficiency of 95.09%(maximum 99.36%). odor gas generated produced in other units such as regulating pool, acidification pool, sedimentation tank and sludge compression are disposed using alkali absorption and oxidation methods. The experimental parameters and results are as follows: volume of air 2000m3/h, available chlorine concentration around 0.16%, average ammonia treatment efficiency of 86.28%(maximum 95.15%), best removal efficiency for H2S: pH value 7.5-9, potential 700-850, liquid gas ratio 4.7-6.0L/m3.Two technical process of this project have been ultimately determined for pharmaceutical wastewater treatment according to the result of pilot test. Biological method is used to deal with the low concentrations of various odor gas produced by aerobic tank in sewage disposal. While hydrogen sulfide and organic gas odor gas generated produced in other units such as regulating pool, acidification pool, sedimentation tank and sludge compression are disposed using alkali absorption and sodium hypochlorite oxidation methods.Biofiltration technology has good adaptability and practicability since the facility was put into operation. This process low operating cost, low safety risk, no secondary pollution, mature technology, easy in operation showed remarkable removal effect for low concentration of odor gas.alkali absorption and sodium hypochlorite oxidation metho, easy maintenance management, low operating cost, could effectively remove the organic pollutant gas with low odor threshold and solve the problem caused by the low odor threshold gas for the surrounding environment.The construction include two sets of facilities about 20000 m3/d, covering area of 220m2, total investment budget for 6.909 million yuan, annual operating costs for 2.18 million yuan after reforming. This project has the good environmental benefit and the social benefit through project benefit assessment.
