In different areas, according to different starting point scholars at home and abroad had made a lot of work in microscopic pore structure and reservoir percolation mechanism. And the microscopic pore structure and seepage law research is still research emphasis for sandstone reservoirs at present and in the future. The micro pore structure in sandstone reservoir is complex, result in complex subsurface fluid percolation features and different pore structure with different fluid seepage characteristics, then fluid in underground seepage flow in porous media throughout the course of oilfield development. Therefore, the importance of study on pore structure and reservoir percolation mechanism is growing, that can provide reliable information to improve the efficient development of oilfield. The reservoir rocks in 6 wellblock and 16 wellblock of KB oilfield are glutenite reservoir layers mainly with conglomerate and fine sandstone. In this paper, the study of reservoir characteristics analysis of reservoir rocks in 6 wellblock and 16 wellblock of KB oilfield, such as eservoir physical properties, lithology, pore structure characteristics, formation fluid properties, etc.; Additionally, water flooding microscopic seepage mechanism research and experimental analysis were promoted aimed at the problems of the high of mixed base content in Glutenite reservoir, poor physical property, low single-well production, water injection water cut rising fast, interlayer water and so on. Clear-out water causes and the flow law of oil and water in the reservoir distribution, analysis of the distribution of movable fluid and bound fluid state, study on the effect of different pore structure on oil displacement efficiency, reservoir microscopic seepage analysis and state of residual oil, can provide base datas for the followling exploration and development of geological research, reserves of the research, and the development scheme in the area, also provide basis and advices for improving oilfield development effect and recovery factor to guide the rational effective KB oilfield waterflood recovery.
