The wastewater of lead and zinc contains lead ion,zinc ion and some other heavy metal ions,so this wastewater is difficult to deal with.At present,the main processing method is neutralization precipitation with lime,but the method will product a lager number of sediment containing heavy metal ions.when the sediment without proper treatment,it not only will waste the resources,but also will caused environmental pollution again. The method of micro-electrolysis with iron and carbon can be used to treat wastewater containing some heavy metal ions by catalyzed oxidation reduction and flocculation precipitation of ferrite, but there are some problems of easy hardening and low reactivity. Be express the appear problems in the lead and zinc’s wastewater treatment by the transmission iron-carbon micro-electrolysis method, we study a equipment which reference and use the mineral processing principle,on the basis of the discrepancy that is in physical or chemical properties of the Iron carbon fillers.This can make the useful component relative enrichment by effect separation of passivation film,floccule and sediment in the micro-electrolysis reaction. This equipment not only overcome the compaction problem in the application process by iron carbon micro-electrolysis technology,but also improve the processing ability of filer A rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reaction device is designed and fabricated.we study the processing conditions and processing capacity in the lead and zinc wastewater treatment with the rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reaction device.we contrast the rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reaction device with conventional fixed bed reactor,and discover that the processing ability of filler was improved significantly by the rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reaction device.The rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reactor is made of organic glass tube. The parameters of the rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reactor are that outside diameter 100mm, thickness 6mm, inside diameter 8mm; cylinder length 145mm, the radius of exit 24mm, the radius of entrance 14mm, the maximum filling rate for 17.1%, critical speed 143r/min.The deceleration motor and drive is chose properly,and the transmission ratio for 1:1.The lead and zinc wastewater is treated by the rolling type micro-electrolysis reactor made ourselves.The optimum processing conditions are influent pH 3.0,reaction time 30min,filling rate 6.5%,speed 10r/min.The removal rate of Pb2+ was 98.3%and the removal rate of Zn2+ was 89.9% by the rolling type micro-electrolysis reactor after treatment.The optimum processing conditions of fixed type micro-electrolysis reactor are influent pH 3.0,reaction time 30min.The removal rate of Pb2+ was 96.2.3%and the removal rate of Zn2+ was 82.3% by the fixed type micro-electrolysis reactor after treatment.We study the processing ability of filler by contrasting penetration test with different reactor.we discover that the processing ability of filler is 0.124L/g by the rolling type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reactor and the processing ability of filler is 0.094L/g by the fixed type iron carbon micro-electrolysis reactor.The filler’s processing ability by rolling type micro-electrolysis reactor is 0.03L/g which higher than the fixed type micro-electrolysis reactor, up to 32%.We observed movements of the filler in the cylinder body, and found three forms mainly:the circular motion along cylinder wall, the packing movement along the inclined slide of filler and parabolic movement of the parabolic trajectory.when the filler make the movement of fall movement,it is good for the micro-electrolysis reaction.Combined two-phase movement theory, the trajectory of filler was analysed in the working state.We found that that speed, filling rate and friction factor could effect the trajectory of filler heavily.The rolling type micro-electrolysis reactor is good for improve the filler’s processing ability and prevent the hardening in micro-electrolysis.This study provides a useful exploration for solving application problem of iron carbon micro-electrolysis in wastewater,and developed a new type equipment of iron carbon micro-electrolysis.
