| In recent 10 years, tea industry in China has achieved rapid development. Tea producion area and total production yield rank first in the world, exporting ranks second and keeping small increase stably. Tea consumption in domestic market grows quickly with strong demand. Even so, the events of tea quality and safety happened frequently, become a main bottleneck of tea exporting, which has some effect on the healthy sustainable development tea industry in China. This paper outlines the status quo of Chinese tea-leaves’ quality security in the aspects of metal and pesticide residues, high rare earth elements and microbial indicators, non-tea addictives contamination. It stresses the export situation of tea-leaves influenced by the quality security problems in recent years and summarizes the existing problems in tea quality and safety of our country.Starting from the source of tea-leaves contaminants, this paper analyzes the various sources of contaminants in tea-leaves in details from the whole process of picking, processing, transporting, and selling, etc. Besides, it explains the toxic mechanism and hazards of metal and pesticide residues, rare earth elements, microbe and non-tea addictives, from the perspective of medical.Through the integration of the tea industry healthy, orderly and sustainable development, from both macro and micro perspectives, this paper summarizes control countermeasures of tea quality security. From the micro perspective, it includes development of ecological tea plantation, technology application in metal and pesticide residues reduction, prevention of microbial contamination, etc. From the macro perspective, it includes development of quality and safety supervision system and traceability system of tea-leaves, establishment of brand, enhancement of technological supporting, as well as reinforcement of laws and standard of tea-leaves. |
