High modulus fiber, owing the advantages of large modulus, light weight and so on, is widely used in the industrial field. However, Because of its low friction coefficient, the yarn is more sensitive to strain, and bring more difficulties to control the weaving process.In the process of weaving, people always expect to be able to get a stable and uniform fabric; whereas as the result of the fluctuation of the actual parameters of the machine and the improper setting, especially when the special is material, the fabric structure is prone to instability, which leads to the uneven texture of the fabric, such as uneven penetration, tensile strength, and so on. So, because it is difficult to control the weaving of the high modulus of the fiber, the fabric defect is more prone to be.Based on finite element numerical simulation theory, emphatically considering the process of weaving loom shedding motion, and analyzing the yarn between the interleaving process-contact friction, this paper discusses and investigates the coefficient of friction, tension of yarn, warp spacing of warp crimp height, and then builds the tension tester, making a part of the validation of simulation and theoretical analysis.This article starts from the point of view of the process of weaving to analyzing the forming of warp crimp, and the mechanism of uneven distribution of crimp height, as combined with force-deformation process of yarn in weaving process, discussed the influence of the parameters on the warp crimp height and distribution along the width direction; secondly based on dynamic explicit method and contact friction theory, and combined with previous research, it established the finite element model of the yarn material, and then used ANSYS/LS-DYNA software to simulate loom shedding motion process, making analysis of yarn cross section, bending and tensile deformation, and obtained the crimp height under different conditions through tecplot matlab software, thus summarized the influence of parameters on warp crimp height;finally Warp tension measurement experiment platform was built, the experiment platform with 24 bit sigma-delta for the high precision AD as the core, equipped with PC software real-time display and preservation of yarn tension data, and the warp tension at the balance of heddle along the width direction was measured by the experiment platform, and it obtained the warp tension change rule along the width direction, part of the verification of theoretical analysis and simulation. Therefore the rule summarized during the investigation that the warp tension and crimp height change had certain guiding significance to improve the tension unevenness and fabric products.
