Currently, among the most common way of metal plastic processing, sheet forming hold an important position in automobile industry, aviation and aerospace fields, shipbuilding industry, hardware appliances. such as the covering parts of automobile which need dropping, pulling, trimming and flanging can be finished. and in this process, that the deformation behavior of sheet metal has a great effect to the forming precision. Otherwise, in the process of stretch forming in aircraft complex skin, the stress-strain of sheet metal has an important influence to springback of stretch forming products. All above are involved large deformation. The theoretical of constitutive relation has an important significance to damage, fracture, springback in sheet forming. and it has important application in products processing. So the theoretical study on constitutive modeling of sheet metal under large deformation has been put large attention in the field of engineering.Recently, as with the development of computer technology and computation mechanics, the numerical simulation has opened up broad prospects for application of large deformation, and has become an indispensable part in the plastic processing. the study indicated that whether the constitutive model is suitable or not was the principal factor affecting the accuracy and reliability result. Consequently, the research on constitutive model of sheet metal which can reflect the material characteristics in large deformation was under pressing needs. While the theories on constitutive modeling of sheet metal under large deformation were under immature. It is one of the most effective way by using the experimental data to build the corresponding constitutive model. And another way is based on small deformation theory research which can be extended to the condition under large deformation. In the paper, a new constitutive model was established which based on simple tensile experiment and numerical simulation technique. And when compared with the previous constitutive model, the new one had a higher applicability and reliability.
