Studies On Process Of Codonopsis Buccal Tablets

Codonopsis is our traditional medicines, which contain terpenes, sugars and glycosides,steroids,flavonoids,volatile oils,alkaloids and other ingredients,with anti-aging, anti-oxidation, anti-fatigue, anti-tumor, enhance immunity and other functions.Currently,most people research chemical composition and medicinal value of Codonopsis.Mostly raw or Codonopsis Pieces for sale on the market,but Codonopsis health products is very rare.Therefore,this paper selects the Codonopsis of Zhushan county,Hubei Province for raw materials,determined its basic components.Studied the effects of different drying methods on quality of Codonopsis.Explored granulation process of Codonopsis buccal tablets and optimal formulation and stablished a method of lobetyolin determination. These provide a theoretical foundation for the further development of Codonopsis.The main conclusions are as follows:1. Different drying methods have some impact on the quality of Codonopsis.Traditional drying methods is dry in the sun,but this method takes a long time,and there are some unpredictable factors in the process.We can using industrial drying method to replace naturally drying.Drying temperature on color, smell, texture and polysaccharide of Codonopsis has a certain influence.The color getting darker,the smell will denser,the texture more brittle and polysaccharide reduce with temperature build-up.When the drying temperature is 40℃,the indicators are better,so the optimal drying temperature of Codonopsis is 40℃.2. The optimal conditions of granulation process are as follows:the concentration of ethanol is 50%,the drying temperature is 50℃,and the drying time is 2 hours.3. In order to obtain optimal formulation of Codonopsis buccal tablets,the effects of different mixtures of five components in Codonopsis buccal tablets on hardness and sensory evaluation value.Established the regression equation with the comprehensive score for the index,obtained integrated optimal solution.The results show that the optimal formulation of Codonopsis buccal tablets,the percentage rates are as follows:Codonopsis 21.92 %, microcrystalline cellulose 30.00 %, dextrin 10.00 %, sucrose 20.00 %,polyvinylpyrrolidone 18.08%.4. Evaluated the quality of Codonopsis buccal tablets,including:measure their pieces weight,hardness,friability,sensory quality,results showed that the prepared Codonopsis buccal tablets looks smooth,with a touch Codonopsis flavor,slightly sweet,taste better,the indicators are in line with the requirements of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.In addition,good linear indications has been shown as a result of the concentration for HPLC beingcontrolled with in 0.025~0.40mg/m L,r2=0.9994,its precision,repeatability,stability and recoveries are in line with the requirements.The experimental data is stable and reliable.
