| Anti-vibration packaging was designed based on the shape, structure, rheological characteristics of strawberry, kiwi and grape, and the effect of the anti-vibration packages on reducing the mechanical damage of the fruit was investigated in this study, respectively. Meanwhile, the ventilate and anti-vibration package box was developed, and its performance of vent ability and anti-vibration properties were evaluated. In addition, the guidelines for applications of anti-vibration package on characteristic fruit were compiled. Main contents were listed as follows:(1) The development and application of anti-vibration package on strawberryThe quality of strawberry fruit and the effect of reducing the mechanical damage of the fruit was investigated in this experiment. The results showed that the anti-vibration package can not only effectively reduce the damage, weight loss, ethylene production, respiration rate and relative conductivity on the fruit surface, also maintain fruit firmness compared to the ordinary package.(2) The development and application of anti-vibration package on kiwifruitThe quality of kiwi and the effect of reducing the mechanical damage of the fruit was respectively investigated in this experiment. The results showed that the anti-vibration package can significantly reduce the damage, weight loss, ethylene production, respiration rate and relative conductivity on the fruit surface, as well as maintain firmness and color of fruit compared to the fruits in the ordinary package.(3) The development and application of anti-vibration liner on grapesThe quality and mechanical damage of grapes was investigated, following by simulated transport vibration and drop. The results showed that the anti-vibration liner can effectively decrease the degree of damage, abscission, breaking, weight loss, ethylene production, and respiration rate compared to the ordinary liner.(4) The development and application of ventilate and anti-vibration boxThe performance of vent ability and anti-vibration of the ventilate and anti-vibration box were evaluated. The results showed that the packing box can not only reduce the mechanical damage of the fruit effectively, but also accelerate the cooling rate in the cold chain with good vent ability and temperature uniformity.(5) Compiling guidelines for applications of anti-vibration package on characteristic fruitsThe guidelines for applications of anti-vibration package on characteristic fruit were compiled based on the usage of anti-vibration package and national packaging standards.In summary, the anti-vibration package developed in this study plays an important role in reducing the mechanical damage of fruit. In addition, the ventilate and anti-vibration box shows greater performance of vent ability and anti vibration, which reveals important application value in the circulation of postharvest fruit. |
