A Study On The Contingency In Draping Modelling Creation

Up to now, draping has become a kind of matural technology of clothing tridimensional modelling. At the same time, it is an important method of clothing modelling creation. Creativity is not unwarranted, however, it is a process of calling and restructuring informations that existed in brain. So, birth of creativity needs stimulation and everything can be the stimulus. When people’s sense organs, especially the visual sense is stimulated, the brain will make a rapid response and call or reconstruct some informations to generate new ideas. Thus, both stimulus and informations in brain play an important role in producing creativity. The reason why draping is an effective method of clothing modelling creation is that much contingency often appears in the operation process. In other words, under people’s irrational guidance, inadvertently and accidentally, fabrics will be formed all sorts of modeling which may stimulate people’s vision and brain, consequently, visual and creative thinking begin to work and informations in our brain will be called and restructured in a creative way. At last, creative ideas are produced. The contingency, unconsciousness and irrationality all have positive effect on creation. Dialectical materialism defines that contingency and necessity exists at the same time and transforms with each other. The contingency in draping is restricted by a lot of necessary conditions. Around "the contingency in draping", this paper discusses and analyzes the conception of the contingency in draping, the necessary conditions, the causes of creativity and the creative divergent modelling method based on the above.
