In manufacturing, digital machine tools and machining centers as the key equipment to ensure the accuracy of its geometry is a very important job. If the accuracy problem, it will have a bad influence on the quality of the product. Traditional measurementerror method for multi-degree of freedom is the dual-frequency laser interferometer, this method in the measurement process is time-consuming and laborious, and the data processing mainly by manual handling which particularly prone to human error and special waste of time. Therefore, the study of an efficient error measurement system for integrated multi-degree of freedom is the future trend of high-precision machine tool instrumentation development.The main work of this paper as follows:1) Analysis of the error measuring principle of freedom to choose a suitable method for laser measuring five degrees of freedom in the conventional measurement method. In the range of working distance of lm. the resolution of the svstem is 0.1 μm for the straightness measurement and 0.3" for angle measurement The accuracy of the system is 3μm for the straightness measurement in the range of 200μm and 2"for angle measurement in the range of ±200".2) Under Windows operating system, based on VC++ the laser five degrees of freedom simultaneously measurement data acquisition and processing system.The use of Altai USB3000 data acquisition card to complete the acquisition of the respective degrees of freedom voltage signal, and the signal is transmitted to a computer for analysis and processing.
