Currently, fine heavy medium cyclone is recognized as a high precision coarse slime sorting equipment, its principle is to use Archimedes’ principle in centrifugal field.The research use Beijing Guohua technology group LTD FHMC200 fine heavy medium cyclone as foundation and by taking changing overflow outlet, underflow outlet and feeding mouth measures increase its capacity. Through the orthogonal test which select overflow outlet two levels and underflow outlet four levels, get the best structure parameters. Test results capacity, ecart probable moye, organic efficiency, practical separation density and total mismatch content as evaluation, tests significance of each factor by visual analysis methods, extremum difference analysis and variance analysis methods, adopts each indicator comprehensive comparison and analysis, selects the optimal level combination, determine the optimal structure parameters.The orthogonal experiment results show that:(1)With the increase of the diameter of the underflow outlet, the ecart probable moye first decreased slightly and then large-sized increased, the practical separation density and the organic efficiency, gradually decreased, the total mismatch content increased gradually. (2)The optimum structure parameters is the overflow outlet M1mm and the underflow outlet 70mm. Comparing to the original FHMC200 fine heavy medium cyclone, its handling capacity increased about 19.5%.
