Using the rotating liner hanger cementing technology can solve the poor cementing quality problem of the ultra deep well, the big displacement well and the complex well, through the tail pipe rotation, rotating liner cementing can decrease the difficulty of the tail pipe down, at the same time it can improve the efficiency of the cement replace, it has important application in the field of oil drilling. The key component of rotating liner hanger is the thrust bearing, the stress of the thrust bearing in a certain area, but should bear the load of hundreds of tons, this thrust bearing belongs to the bearing of low speed and heavy loading, at the same time, the down-hole high temperature mud, the role of the hydrogen sulfide and other corrosive gas, making the condition is very complex. Based on the rotating liner hanger bearing complex working characteristics, this paper has studied on the rotating liner hanger bearing contact characteristics, in order to gain the influence factors of the rotating liner hanger bearing contact characteristic.This paper analyzes the rotating liner hanger bearing structure characteristics firstly, using the large displays, nonlinear dynamics analysis software ANSYSLSDYNA to establish the rotating liner hanger bearing’s three dimensional finite element analysis model, to simulate the running state of the rotating liner hanger, and to study the dynamic contact stress and strain under elastic and elastic-plastic material models. The simulation results show that under the elastic material model, the roller stress of the small end significantly greater than the large end stress, this accords with the general law of Hertzian contact stress distribution; Under the elastic-plastic material model, compared with the elastic material, roller contact stress distribution is evener at the contact area with the axial ring, but at the contact area with the sit ring, has stress concentration phenomenon.Rotating liner hanger bearing belongs to the low-speed and heavy-duty bearing, its friction is mainly produced by the differential slip in the zone of the roller and raceway contact deformation zone. In ANSYS-Workbench software, this paper established the rotating liner hanger bearing friction heat finite element analysis model, simulated the rotating liner hanger bearing friction heat in the contact area, and compare the bearing temperature field with no friction, and study on the bearing temperature field and the influence of frictional heat by thermal-mechanical coupling analysis, study the effect of friction heat on the bearing contact stress, and compare two situations of when there are no friction contact stress and has friction contact stress, the simulation results show that the existence of the friction between the bearing cannot be ignored for the influence of temperature field. It can make the highest temperature between roller and raceway contact grow 29.9 degrees Celsius; The existence of friction had no significant effect on contact stress and strain.This paper adopts the numerical simulation technology, the driven load, friction heat and different aspects such as material model are considered, analysis of the influence of the above factors on the rotating liner hanger bearing contact stress. It can shorten the development period time of rotating liner hanger bearings, and have a significance to improve the bearing design life of the rotating liner hanger bearings.
