Chemical enterprises have dangerous chemicals that would lead to accidents and typical accidents such as explosion and gas leakage will cause serious loss. But scientific and timely accident treatment can reduce the loss. At present, it is a powerful guarantee to improve the efficiency of accident treatment by developing decision support system for accident.Technologies such as computer network and GIS(Geographic Information System) provide a new idea for developing decision support system. This paper used computer network technology, GIS technology and typical accident model to develop a typical decision support system for accident that integrated chemical site data and geographic information, and designed processing method for each stage of the accident, and then provided scientific and timely support accident processing program to help the leader to deal with the accident effectively.The main contents of this paper are:(1) Designed an integrated decision support system framework for typical accident that based on field data and location information, reasoning platform of accident and monitor platform constituted the framework. First, the knowledge data is obtained from the accident reasoning platform by processing the chemical field data, then the knowledge data and the chemical field’s safety data are displayed on the monitor platform.(2) Used the accident model and field data collected by PIMS to achieve reasoning platform of accident. In the incubation period of accident, the reasoning platform used logic inference rules to monitor the relevant real-time data to provide operational guidance. After the accident occurred, firstly the reasoning platform given the corresponding emergency plan and the auxiliary operation plan. Secondly, the reasoning platform used field data to simulate the accident and given auxiliary evacuation plan and auxiliary command plan according to the simulation results.(3) Used ArcGIS to achieve monitor platform. Given the accident reasoning data and enterprise security data the property of geographic position information, made the data displaying in the map display hierarchically.According to the design scheme, this paper developed prototype system and built a test environment for technical point verification. Used the PIMS to simulate the field data, used accident reasoning platform to process simulation data and displayed the result on the ArcGIS map. Simulated different ammonia synthesis situations to test and verify the function of decision support system for accident. Verification results showed that the reasoning platform of accident under different production scene can effectively give reasoning knowledge, monitor platform can accurately present the reasoning of knowledge and security data, the system can effectively improve the efficiency of accident handling.
