| There are many billion kilograms of agricultural waste products in China. These materials often used as foodstuff, energy, etc, but lots of them are abandoned without proper utilization, and more pollution problem comes out. Now days numbers of dyes are being widely used in textile, rubber and food industries, which generate numerous of wastewater each year. Therefore, in this study, agricultural residues were modified by Tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and used in the removal Orange II, Methylene blue and Eriochronme black T dyes from aqueous solution.(1) In this study, the treatment include two steps, firstly, rice straw were treatment with dilute sodium hydroxide solution containing hydrogen peroxide, secondly, the straw were modified by Tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride. The physical and chemical characteristics of modified straw were examined by scanning electronic microscope, IR. The results showed optimal conditions were as follows, reaction time was 4h, reaction temperature was 40℃, stir rate was 400r/m, M(MS):M(TTAC) was 1:2, and pH was 7.(2) In this paper, the MS were used to remove Orange II, Methylene blue and Eriochronme black T from aqueous solution. The result indicated that the MS have good flocculation efficiency for wastewater. The optimal conditions of treatment dyes were determined by single-factor experiment and the orthogonal experiment, under the optimum operational condition:reaction time was 20 min, reaction temperature was 20℃, stir rate was 300r/m, MS was 0.6g, and pH was 5, MS could be used to remove Orange II reach 95.71%, reaction time was 25 min, reaction temperature was 20℃, stir rate was 300r/m, MS was 0.8g, and pH was 7, MS could be used to remove Methylene blue reach 76.35%, and when reaction time was 15 min, reaction temperature was 20℃, stir rate was 300r/m, MS was 0.6g, and pH was 7, MS could be used to remove Eriochronme black T reach 97.47%.(3) At the optimal conditions, MS could be used to remove Orange Ⅱ reach 96.35%, but Aluminum sulfate only reach 5.71%, and polyacrylamide can reach 10.31%. MS could be used to remove Methylene blue reach 70.48%, but Aluminumsulfate only reach2.42%, and polyacrylamide can reach 1.31%. MS could be used to remove Eriochronme black T reach 97.47%, but Aluminum sulfate only reach1.70%, and polyacrylamide can reach 79.61%. |
