Blasting excavation is currently of water conservancy and hydroelectric power, transportation and mining slope and underground caverns are the main means of excavation. However, during the process of blasting excavation, the impact load caused by the explosion will cause damage to the rock mass in a certain range. This damage leads to the decline of mechanical parameters of rock mass, and left hidden danger to the safety of the project. With the deepening of mining, the effect of in-suit stress on blasting shock loading can not be ignored. In this paper, ANSYS/LS-DYNA numerical simulation software is used to study the damage distribution of surrounding rock under the coupling action of blast load and ground stress. The influence of in-situ stress state on surrounding rock damage is studied, and the results are compared with the test results of the excavation damage zone in the Ⅲ 13 high extraction lane of Huaibei mining group. The blasting in soft rock tunnel excavation damage caused by geological radar test, get the damage distribution in different parts of the straight wall arch tunnel. The test results show that the damage degree of roadway roof is maximum. The simulation results considering the influence of the earth stress are in good agreement with the measured results. And this result is obviously different from that of the surrounding rock damage induced by the explosion load without considering the in-situ stress.
