| The explosion method was a new technology of waste tire recycling, which has the advantages of low energy consumption and high recovery degree of rubber, and the use of explosives plays an important role in the process. The recovery results of different types and dosages of explosives and flame inhibitors were studied and compared, which had a great significance on the development of recycling waste tires.In this paper, different TNT equivalent over pressure peaks were theoretical calculated through the explosive effect form was studied in the blasting process of recycling waste tires. The rubber pieces and separation situations of tire and steel was researched after blasting by ammonium nitrate explosive, emulsion explosive or TNT respectively. The results can help to study the type and amount of explosives how to affect the blasting tire recycling. The TNT were mixed with the flame inhibitor of sodium chloride, potassium chloride and ammonium chloride used to research different kinds and dosage of flame inhibitor how to affect the tire recycling effect.The results showed that the shock wave was the main factors in the blasting method of waste tire recycling. When the TNT equivalent is not less than 2.0Kg, it had a good crushing effect(waste tire rubber block diameter below 50mm). In the same charge conditions, TNT was best among the three explosives. When the charge is 1.5kg, the tire rubber were completely separated from the steel after blasting and rubber pieces, whose diameter is below 50 mm, accounted for the total recovery ratio reached 95%. While different explosives were used to blast 5 tires in the same charge(1.5Kg) conditions, only TNT can separated rubber from steel wire completely. The quantity of waste tire recycling had a connection with the explosive detonation heat. When the blast energy is too high, the rubber were carbonized and the recovery rate is reduced. Flame inhibitor could effectively increase recovery rate and greatly improve the carbonization of rubber. Using sodium chloride as flame inhibitor agent(mixing amount of about 11%), the recycling effect of waste tire is best. |
