Penetration in different regions close to the low permeability reservoir there is a big difference in the development of the use of difficulty, production characteristics. In order to study the differences between the low-permeability oil reservoir and high permeability oil reservoir in pore structure, and to identify reasons that low-permeability reservoir with low oil displacement efficiency from micro factor, this paper has been developed experimental methods of micro-anatomy for low-permeability cores and completed assembly of equipment.This method used the optical microscope observations, compare low permeability reservoirs in Shengping Putaohua oil reservoir, combined with extended depth of scene software,measurement software, it can be realized on measuring micro-parameters that from the natural cross-section of low-permeability natural core, such as pore radius, pore throat ratio,coordination number with the median plane, tortuous plane and the shape factor. Analying the experimental data, we can find that the bigger pore throat and the smaller form factor are the most significant differences between low-permeability cores and high permeability cores, and also are the main micro-inefficiency factor of low-permeability core with low oil displacement efficiency.
