This article through to the ammonia plant of CO2 regeneration tower diversion cylinder damage form of investigation and failure analysis,from the morphology of the diversion cylinder of macro and micro test two aspects analyzes the damage reasons,especially focus on analysis and contrast of the parent metal and weld fracture morphology,as well as the analysis of fracture surface corrosion products,comprehensive analysis and it is concluded that the cause and mechanism of diversion cylinder damage.At the same time,through the diversion cylinder outside the flow status of fluid theory analysis, establish the diversion solid calculation area of cylinder and fluid computing area, ANSYS Workbench three-dimensional geometric model is set up; Considering the structure and the interaction of flow field,fluid field numerical model is set up; Using the ALE method,to realize the description of fluid dynamic grid; Solid domain application of the theory of finite element and diversion cylinder two-way coupling calculation model is set up. According to the model,the flow properties of medium according to the definition of physical parameters in production,determine the appropriate boundary conditions,to carry out the simulation analysis, it is concluded that the diversion, the distribution of fluid velocity field inside the cylinder and diversion cylinder structure damage factors are analyzed. Study diversion cylinder outside the turbulent kinetic energy and dissipation rate and diversion cylinder stress distribution law, Three kinds of optimization scheme is put forward:designed to increase orifice plate structure, bump structure, change the diversion cylinder shape, respectively to three kinds of working condition of three kinds of scheme numerical calculation,by comparing the identified in diversion cylinder outer wall increased local design optimization scheme of orifice plate.Finally,further analysis and design of orifice plate distance diversion cylinder position of fluid flow field and structure stress influence,open orifice aperture size on the influence of the fluid flow field and the related parts of pressure,final diversion cylinder structure optimization design scheme is determined,in order to achieve the goal of extend the life of the diversion cylinder.
