Vertical storage tank is an important storage equipment for crude oil, refined oil,chemical raw materials and intermediate products, petroleum products. The tank bottom corrosion is the decisive factor affecting the safe operation of storage tank,its severity is the main indicators to guide the tank repair decision making, and the tank bottom corrosion detection is the main method to ensure the smooth operation of a cycle of storage tanks. According to the special environment of tank bottom,acoustic emission testing method is an advanced method at present is more and more widely used in international. However, the acoustic emission testing evaluation results only for monitoring period of tank bottom corrosion severity rating, unable to judge the corrosion state of the stage and its development trend. And the acoustic emission testing technology is still not systematic description of tank bottom corrosion by changes of each stage. In order to different medium storage tank bottom corrosion is more comprehensive and accurate evaluation of the state, judge the corrosion stage, predict the development trend, preventive test for variable predictive test.Based on the experimental results of on-line monitoring of Corrosion Acoustic Emission of tank bottom plate under variable conditions, the characteristics of acoustic emission parameters of different media, different working conditions and different corrosion stages were obtained, to provide basis for the evaluation of Corrosion Acoustic Emission of tank bottom plate; At the same time, the corrosion experiments of different media were carried out to obtain the relationship between the acoustic emission activity and the corrosion severity, which is beneficial to the evaluation of the corrosion state of the tank bottom plate.
