At present, with the rapid development of lead and zinc smelting industry in Yunnan Province, smelting process of sulfur dioxide in flue gas and flue gas SO2 concentration increased in a large amount, in order to meet the increasingly stringent environmental requirements and SO2 emission standards, the enterprises to adopt different SO2 flue gas purification process, which produce low concentration SO2 flue gas desulfurization desulfurization slag, solid waste attribute is unknown, there is the problem of environmental pollution. For the desulfurization slag, this paper using nitric acid-sulfuric acid method and horizontal vibration method for leaching experiments were carried out, and distinguish the damage characteristics and properties of its solid waste clear.Based on eight of lead and zinc smelting industry in Yunnan Province typical enterprise (six lead smelting enterprises, foue zinc smelting enterprise, which two for zinc enterprises) are investigated and desulfurization slag samples of four companies were sampled survey its smelting process, SO2 flue gas purification process and desulfurization slag generation, disposal and utilization situation. Through leaching experiments to provide a scientific basis for the regulatory authorities, put forward the desulfurization slag management and pollution control measures, to facilitate the supervision of the regulatory authorities to carry out the supervision.The characteristics of desulfurization residues were determined and the leaching characteristics of the desulfurization residues were determined. The results were as follows:(1) Four lead and zinc smelting enterprises desulfurization slag of nitric acid and sulphuric acid leaching experiments of leaching solution, have one or more elements concentration more than the identification standard for hazardous wastes, leaching toxicity identification "standard limits, desulfurization slag has leaching toxicity, identified as hazardous waste.(2) Four smelting enterprises desulfurization slag level oscillation leaching experiments of leaching solution, pH value satisfies the identification standard for hazardous wastes, leaching toxicity identification "provisions of the standard pH, desulfurization slag with corrosive, identified as hazardous waste.(3) Smelting flue gas desulfurization slag leaching solution of major pollutants except for as, leaching amount and concentration of pollutants in the fundamental positive, pollutants in the desulfurization slag of sulfuric acid and nitric acid leaching characteristics rely mainly on to the influence of stable chemical properties of pollutants and other environmental conditions.(4) Two leaching methods results:enterprises employ the leaching concentration of sulfuric acid and nitric acid leaching of the relevant elements are higher than those of the leaching concentration of horizontal vibration method,sulphuric and nitric acid method is help to the leaching of the metal, and nitric acid- sulfuric acid method using rotary oscillation can better the remove the oscillation when dead, dip effect is better than that of horizontal vibration method.(5) Through the research of this topic, Yunnan Province different lead and zinc smelting and desulfurization process of desulfurization slag, attribute definition, management and pollution control were comprehensively investigated proposed measures and suggestions for the comprehensive, systematic, in order for the relevant departments to provide a scientific basis.
