Current oscillation wave testing technique has been widely used in power system, but the oscillation wave technology has not been applied in coal mine industry, coal industry, one is due to the particularity of determines the coal mine equipment and devices must have a certificate of explosion-proof performance and coal, and now on the market of OWTS oscillation wave discharge test device cable almost all don’t have certificate of coal, so the equipment cannot be used in the coal mine; Because coal mining technology and equipment and personnel quality is generally low, lead to new technology and new equipment in the coal mine well promotion; Three is because that even today state-owned large modern coal mine use of the insulation of the cable fault detection means is still the traditional pressure shock, exposing cable fault directly, and then by the artificial method, looking for cable fault point along the waste a lot of manpower material resources. So the oscillation wave of partial discharge test application in coal mine has strong practical significance and social effect.This paper studies the oscillation wave detection method is used in coal mine, used the OWTS oscillation wave discharge test device to detect the cable I mine of 35 kv substation of 10 kv side to the underground power supply all eight models for MYJV 22-10 kv/3 x 240 mm squared type mine high voltage crosslinked polyethylene armoured cable, three defects found. This three defects are respectively by cable joint technology coarse, cable insulation layer caused by stress damage and cable joint be affected with damp be affected with damp, the top two defects found in the ground in cable trench, finally found a defect in underground water spray section+1300 level. Getting rid of the above defects in a timely manner of treatment, treatment after the survey, have found no partial discharge phenomenon.Through research and test, the coal mine by using the method of oscillation wave detection cable defect in its method mainly for:1, all underground substation high-voltage substation main power comes from the ground, all use cable transmission, mine main cable insulation testing shall be in the ground line side of substation, and remove the cable head and end all, ground cable terminal head of the general test for the end.2, cable, all the paths in the underground use the new cable, usually the newly installed cable to test the insulation resistance before into the well, and not qualified to be on the ground vibration wave partial discharge detection, stay behind for getting rid of it can be installed into the well.3, the reuse of the full path is used in underground cable, before put into the hole again, usually in an oscillating wave cable partial discharge test, use a long time, because the old cable and installation, cable insulation damage easily in the process of recycling, avoid cable into the well after installation safety accidents.
