The stainless steel market of China has developed rapidly in recent years, and the successive annual output reaches ten million tons. Regarding the production process of stainless steel, our steelmaking and hot rolling equipments can realize localization, but the annealing and pickling equipments and cold rolling equipments are still defective and exist obvious gap comparing with the advanced foreign manufacturers. So far, the built and abuilding annealing and pickling lines of stainless steel and the subsequent equipments in most stainless steel producers are all imported in majority, only a handful of which are manufactured domestically. Therefore, to grasp the annealing and pickling process of stainless steel entirely and to research and develop the corresponding equipments of high level have extremly vital significance to reduce the cost of investment and improve the quality of the overall domestic products.This paper makes analysis and research based on a recent domestic new annealing and pickling lines of hot rolling stainless steel, combining with its technological process and equipment capacity, and many other domestic lines, in order to provide conditions for further improving our ability of independent research and development in this field.After hot rolling, austenite and part of ferritic stainless steel are annealed in horizantal furnace, where the steel strip are preheated by exhaust gas first, then enter the heating section. When the temperature of strip reaches 1 180 ℃, to quench by making use of water in order to reduce the yield strength for subsequent cold rolling. Because a large amount of scale is generated on the strip surface in the process of hot rolling and annealing, scale breaker and shot blasting machine are needed to add before pickling section in order to reduce the acid consumption.In the pickling process, using a combination of sulfuric acid and mixed acid, and the shallow groove design of acid tank, can improve the effect of pickling. |
