M15-1 Block Horizontal Well Development Law And Well Pattern Adaptability Evaluation

A number of low permeability reservoirs are distributed in C hina, they are more difficult to decelop due to the poor reservoir property compared with the conventional reservoir, and they have the low mining degree. The development effect of low permeability reservoir can be improved by using horizontal well development. Therefore, obtaining reasonable well pattern and parameter through studying the development rules of horizontal well and the adaptability evaluation of horizontal well pattern has important significance to economic and effective development of low permeability reservoir.In this paper, M15-1 block reservoir is taken as the research object and the study on horizontal well development law and well pattern adaptability evalution is carried out. Through the statistical analysis of the actual reservoir development data, modern reservoir engineering theories are taken as the research method, the development law of horizontal well of M15-1 block is studied. The importance of maintaining formation pressure is analyzed, the reasonable formation pressure maintenance is determined. The capacity characteristics and the law of production decline is studied, the main types of production decline are determined. The water content characteristics of M15-1 block are analyzed, the low of water cut change is obtained. This paper evaluates the adaptability of horizontal well pattern by reservoir engineering method and numerical simulation method. By using reservoir engineering method, the adaptability of well pattern is evaluated by well pattern density, water flooding development characteristics, water flooding development effects and recovery forecast. The development index is forecasted with numerical simulation method, the adaptability of well pattern is evaluated by comparing and analysising the development index of different well patterns. The optimization and adjustment of horizontal well pattern is studied on the result of horizontal well development law and well pattern adaptability evalution in M15-1 block.
