As the number of cars increases every year, the environment is seriously polluted, so it is time to save energy and weight. Tailor welded blank technology can effectively reduce body weight and conserve energy, so it has been widely used. The drawing process of Tailored Blanks is relatively complex, uneven deformation of each part, In the process of deformation, the defects, such as rupture, wrinkling, movement of welding seam, rebound and so on,can be broken. Researches of tailor welded blank forming laws are more focused on research straight wall type parts, the research on surface type parts is very small, so this typical conical surfaces Parts Tailored Blanks forming member study Law.This paper describes the deep drawing characteristics and major defects of TWB conical parts. The deep drawing is simulated and analyzed by Dynaform finite element simulation software. The forming properties of three aspects, the forming limit depth, the side wall forming quality and the movement of the welding seam, were comprehensively considered. The influence of some process parameters on the forming performance, such as BHF, thickness ratio, punch fillet radius, friction coefficient, stamping speed and punch diameter, are mainly studied. It has a certain guiding significance for the actual production.According to the simulation research, a set of Drawing forming die for tailor welded blanks is designed. The mold uses the block blank holder and the two sides fixed boundary value. In the paper, the different influential process parameters on the forming limit depth and the movement of the weld were studied by the experiment of deep drawing. The experimental results and the simulation results were compared to verify the correctness of the findings. And the experimental results are analyzed in detail for the subsequent experiments to provide reference.Finally, summarize the results of the study, point out the limitations of the study, and present aspects of the future.
