In this paper, the engine exhaust system of mine explosion-proof diesel purification performance is the research object, the characteristics of the blast cleaning in the exhaust system of the mine diesel engine are studied. Improve the performance of the diesel engine by enhancing the structure of the waste gas treatment box. The heat transfer, the purification mechanism and the purification effect of the waste gas treatment chamber are studied by theoretical analysis, experimental verification and numerical simulation.Firstly, the structure of the waste gas treatment box is improved, and the structure of the six elbow pipe type waste gas treatment box is selected. A 3 dimension model of the blade has been set up using Pro/ E software, and the theoretical calculation of the volume of the waste gas treatment box is carried out.Secondly, the mechanism of heat transfer and the process of heat and mass transfer are analyzed by the principle of heat and mass exchange. The diesel engine bench test is carried out, and the power and fuel consumption of different working conditions and different working conditions were measured with different operating conditions, and the temperature and the concentration of flue gas at the outlet were measured by MATLAB software.Explore whether the power and economy of the diesel engine has a effect on the power and economy of the diesel engine. Verify the effectiveness of the performance of explosion proof and purification.Finally, according to the principle of heat and mass exchange, a waste gas treatment inside the box of gas phase and liquid phase of the two-phase flow model, and simplified. Through the simulation of FLUENT software, the improvement measures are put forward according to the results of the research.In this paper, the improved design of the waste gas treatment box is carried out based on the numerical simulation method.This method provides a reference for the design of the waste gas treatment box and a new way for the improvement of the waste gas treatment, and it has a certain significance and practical value on the research for the characteristics of explosion proof of the exhaust system of the coal mine diesel engine.
