Nowadays, the energy problem is already a national priority which need to be solved. Using the development of renewable energy to ease or even replace dependence on fossil fuels has become the most priority of international attention. Biomass energy as a clean pollution-free renewable energy is abundant, it has a huge potential for development. The development and utilization of biomass energy technology sort is various, and in all of the technology,the biomass gasification technology has the most widely prospect and the highest efficiency. In this paper,based on the fluidized bed gasifier, co-gasification of biomass and coal can provide a effective method and basis to help us optimizing the process of gasification.Mechanism analysis of co-gasification of biomass with coal is the step one. CHEMKIN is used to calculate the co-gasification and gas components of the heat balance system of the reaction. It is concluded that under thermodynamic equilibrium state,conditions of experimental such as temperature, equivalent ratio can easily change the generated components. Theoretically when the experiment is in best operating conditions,gas components of gasification reaction can be the best. It can help us to guide the co-gasification of biomass and coal.This test use fluidized bed gasifier to do the co-gasification of biomass and coal experiment for making low calorific value gas, use water and air as gasification agent. Choose bagasse and long-flame coal as raw material. The study is all about the factors that influence the gas composition and calorific value. Before hot test, we do the cold test first to determine the feeding quantity of per unit timet which feeded by the and the amount of biomassin that joined by the conveying screw feederest. Through the experiment and measurement of the resistance of cloth wind plate and material layer resistance,the wind resistance and the resistance of the material layer are drawn along with the change of air volume. Then we can get the minimum running air volume of the cold test and the critical fluidized air flow of the hot test. The changes of gas component with temperature, equivalence ratio and S/B were studied by thermal state test. The results show that the three test conditions have great influence on the gasification test. The calorific value of gas is increasing with the increase of temperature. ER and S/B will have a negative impact on the gasification reaction.When the gasification reaction temperature was950℃, ER was 0.24 and S/B was 0.25, the calorific value of gas was the best. It is the optimumoperating conditions for the co gasification of biomass and coal in a fluidized bed gasifier.Provide reliable support for the co-gasification of biomass and coal into industrial applications.
