ZnO is one of the semiconductors with direct wide-band, at normal temperature(25 ℃), ZnO has huge band gap(about 3.37 e V) and higher exciton banding energy(60me V), which makes its potential application value large in the fields such as microelectronic device and photoelectric device. Nano materials ZnO has unique characteristics of electricity, magnetics and optics, which enables it to become the superior material of preparing electron devices and optical devices; MoS2 has significant hexagonal crystal regular layer contribution, nano MoS2 not only has superior properties in tribology, thus being appropriate for solid lubricant materials, but also possesses better figure in the sides of catalysis, hydrogen storage of electrodes, electronic probe and other fields. Intrinsic ZnO has not yet satisfied the desire of researches, ZnO composite materials have become the hot issue of researches gradually, therefore, studying ZnO/MoS2 composite material is considered. In this paper, ZnO, MoS2 and ZnO/MoS2 composite materials are fabricated using hydro-thermal method, prepared materials are characterized, and their field emission characteristics are studied, and the key words are expressed as follows:1. ZnO powder is fabricated using hydro-thermal method and the tests of the field emission characteristics of ZnO powder: combined with orthogonal experiments, ZnO powder samples are prepared applying different fabricated technology parameters; using traditional characterization means, the structure, surface shapes and concentration of samples are characterized by analysis and applying tools such as SEM and XRD, field emission characteristics of ZnO powder are conducted in the field emission tester, and they are compared and analyzed.2. Fabricating ZnO arrays using two-step method and the tests of the field emission characteristics of ZnO arrays: first, one layer of ZnO "seed layer” film on Si substrate is prepared using sol-gel method, then combined with orthogonal experiments, preparing ZnO arrays on “seed layer” using different hydro-thermal technology; using traditional characterization means, the shape, surface looking and concentration of samples are characterized by analysis and test tools XRD and SEM, field emission characteristics of ZnO arrays are conducted in the field emission tester, they are compared and analyzed by hand.3. Preparing ZnO/MoS2 composite materials using hydro-thermal method and the tests of the properties of composites: ZnO/MoS2 materials are prepared by mixing the different amount of MoS2 and adding different amount of Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide(CTAB); applying traditional characterization means, the structure, surface looking and concentration of products are characterized by figure and testing tools SEM and XRD; field emission characteristics of ZnO/MoS2 composite materials are conducted in the field emission tester, they are compared with the field emission characteristics of intrinsic ZnO powder, thus analyzing the influence of ZnO/MoS2 composite on the field emission characteristics of ZnO.
