| Wood Plastic Composites is a new kind of composites, modified thermoplastic resins with wood fiber, and it makes up the properties of single material. Wood Plastic Composites owns the advantages of plastic and wood, such as:low water adsorption, high dimensional stability, high stiffness, good processing performance and low maintenance cost. Because of the high applicability of Wood Plastic Composites, more and more people pay attention to it. In many fields, Wood Plastic Composites could take place of other materials, so it is bright for Wood Plastic Composites in the future.In this paper, PVC/wood fiber Composites was prepared by twin-screw extruder. And this paper mainly studied:the influence of twin-screw extruder temperature on the composites mechanical properties; the influence of filler on the composites mechanical properties; the design of a factory produced 50000 tons of composites per year.Response surface methodology was used to analyze the relationship of twin-screw extruder temperature with the flexural strength of composites. And the model was as follows: σ=-1757.32767+7.09662*T1+4.65461*T2+8.49894*T3-1.14417*10-3*T1*T2+2.25375*10-3 *T1*T3-2.02750*10"3*T2*T3-0.020806*T12-0.010872*T22-0.024540*T32Optimal processing conditions were as follows:Feeding Segment Temperature T1=174.8℃, Compression Segment Temperature T2=188.7℃, Homogenization Segment Temperature T3=173.4℃, and the flexural strength of composites reached the peak value 38.733MPa.When the content of talcum powder was 30%, the mechanical properties were the best. The flexural strength of composites was 40.028MPa, Elastic Modulus was 6.503GPa, Water Adsorption for 72 hours was 1.220%, Linear Expansivity was 0.229%, and Density was 1.355g/cm3. |
