Laser remanufacturing technology is an advanced repair technology, its core idea is that damaged and scrap steel parts become new products with low pollution and low cost, make them continue to use, and then their life is better than of the original spare parts.In industrial production, the ladder parts occupied large proportion of steel parts, such as stepped shafts, crankshafts, and cone pulley of wire drawing machine are all ladder parts, consumption of these damage failure ladder parts accounts for a large proportion in the industrial production. In this dissertation, using the superiority of laser cladding, laser remanufacturing procedures of choosing quenching and tempering 45# steel bar manufacturing ladder parts are studied, and its basic research results are used on the cone pulley of wire drawing machine for engineering application. The primary coverage as follows:Adopting high-power semiconductor laser, through the experiment of single variable method, the effect of laser power, cladding speed and overlap rate on cladding layer surface macro quality, microstructure and microhardness, a better crafts parameter is obtained at last. In remanufacturing of ladder parts, the laser cladding procedure of two parts of producing easily the cladding defects is researched, namely the ladder part and the end part.Laser cladding experiments of rectangular and non rectangular geometry ladder parts are researched, and microstructure, microhardness and XRD phase composition of the cladding layer are analyzed. The process of rectangular and non rectangular stepped parts remanufacturing based on laser cladding is simulated by ANSYS APDL, temperature field and stress field generated in the laser cladding process are researched, and the stress field after cooling down is also analyzed.Laser remanufacturing procedure of cone pulley of drawing machine is researched,and the causes of failure of cone pulley are analyzed. Repairing technology of laser remanufacturing of cone pulley of wire drawing machine isformulated, and the macro hardness of cladding layer is tested. Wear-resistant performance of cladding layer of conepulley is studied. Test and analysis results indicate that the surface quality, hardness and wear-resisting performance of cone pulley satisfy the using requirement.
