Now, a single metal material has been difficult to meet the requirements for material strength in some areas of the structure, the application of composite materials has been gradually recognized by society. Fiber Metal Laminates since birth, with its good structural be widely used. Fiber Metal Laminates(Fiber Metal Laminates-FMLs)are made of metal(aluminum, titanium) and thin alternating layers of reinforcing fiber layup, an inter-layer under certain curing process to form hybrid composite structures.Fiber Metal Laminates has good mechanical properties, it has been widely used in the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747 wing and fuselage structure, which requires people to have a clear understanding of the mechanical properties, especially strength and fatigue performance.Firstly, using the finite element method(FEM) analysis of the micro-bridge model contacts to fiber metal laminates bit research object, the contact surface stress fretting bridge sample and fiber metal laminates contact surfaces of fretting fatigue.They established their two-dimensional geometric model and finite element model, and different parameters were calculated by the finite element software ABAQUS. According to the calculation results of finite element, the use of multi-axial fatigue analysis theory, considering cyclic loading, micro-bridge pressure,friction coefficient, fretting under stress distribution factors bridge foot radius of the contact surface, the influence of the state and other contact surfaces.According to the calculated results of finite element software ABAQUS, the introduction of critical surface energy density method, through the analysis of contact surface micro fatigue stress and strain distribution along the contact path, get the location of the contact surface crack initiation under different parameters, on the basis of the theory of multiaxial fatigue strength, fiber layer board of fretting fatigue life model is set up. Of the metal fiber layer board sample by fatigue testing machine fatigue test, it is concluded that the service life of fiber layer board curve, to get the life test data fitting, get life prediction model of fiber layer metal plate, and compared with the life of the SWT method to predict and analyze the fretting fatigue behavior. |
