With the rapid development of economic globalization, energy issues have become the mainstream of the world, oil as a non renewable resources to promote the continuous progress of society. Traditional beam pumping unit has the advantages of simple structure, low manufacturing cost and easy maintenance, so it has been in the dominant position in oil production. Due to the working time of the crank is extremely violent, and sometimes even to the negative moment state, greatly reducing the efficiency of the motor and service life, to the world has brought a huge waste of energy.The main research content of this paper is on beam pumping oil machine crank weight balancing based, the second precise balance of, swims in the magneto rheological damper added to the beam axis by of magneto rheological damper using semi-active control, so as to adjust the crankshaft net torque curve the fluctuation becomes smooth, achieve the effect of saving energy.(1) the kinematics and dynamics of the beam pumping unit is analyzed, and the net torque curve of the hanging point and the crank is calculated by the calculation. In the end, the energy consumption reduced 11.49%, and the service life of the motor has been significantly improved.In this paper, the application of magneto rheological damper to oil exploitation is an unprecedented innovation, which provides a new direction for the future development of oil pumping unit.
