China is not only a mobile phone’s producing countries, consuming countries but also phone-out power, waste mobile phone’s circuit boards have great potential for recycling,but the old mobile phones group failed to make effective treatment resources, causing serious environmental pollution and waste of resources. Mechanical and physical recycling in the present study’s emphasis and hotspot.Flotation separation method compared with other methods with low investment cost, simple equipments and process, high recovery efficiency,less environmental pollution.The technology is used for mobile phone’s circuit boards recovery has great prospects for development.In this paper, flotation recovery process used cell phone’s circuit boards copper were studied, including a mobile phone’s circuit boards crushing, metal and non-metal separation, copper separation of metal separator and other studies.Fragmentation experiments of three different handling of mechanical disruption of the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards and analyse the constituents, crushing characteristics,size and quality, particle morphology, dissociative state, metal distribution properties. By analyzing the characteristics to the following conclusions: the mechanical crushing effect on the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards is not ideal, easy to produce some negative phenomena,such as " thick", " small", " chunks", for this undesirable effects, the fragmentation choice 3 times broken manners to waste mobile phone’s circuit boards. The fragmentation and dissociation of the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards are different:remove surface components of the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards(dissociation size:0.45 mm, break time: 1.5min) <without removing the surface components waste mobile phone’s circuit boards(dissociation size: 0.6mm, break time: 2.0min) <heat treatment waste mobile phone’s circuit boards(dissociation size: 1.25 mm, break time: 1.0min). Metal mainly concentrated in the first 5 grades, some little metal in-0.074 mm grains and different pretreatment conditions on the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards have different metal distributions. The research results have chosen to disassemble the surface components of the waste mobile phone’s circuit boards to break.Flotation test mainly includes 3 processes: preparation of experimental materials, metal and nonmetallic separation and flotation separation of copper.The experiment uses three crushing material preparation-0.45 mm materials, the final screen material accounted for more than 96%, the result meet to the requirements of metal separation experiment.The experiment chose to 0.45 mm graded metal rich collective classification method, and then graded ball mill to-0.074 mm and accounted for 95% or more, the product’s rich meet the requirement of thecopper separation experiment.The experiment selection of slurry density and stirring speed,air-flow rate as the three variables, have not added any chemical drug, choose their production rate, metal mass percent content in the sunken, metal recovery as experimental indexes,carries on the single factor experiment, orthogonal experiment, the optimal particle size of experiment. Conclusion: primary and secondary sequence and the optimal solution for:speed(2000rpm)> concentration(100g / L)> Inflatable amount(100L / h), the best flotation granularity: 0.3 ~ 0.15 mm and metal recovery rate was 79.95%, and the experimental results of XRF analysis and comparison of heavy liquid separation with high metal recovery.Copper separation test is based on metal and nonmetal flotation separation experiment, by direct flotation method, The experiment select activator, collector, frother dosage of experimental variables, select with the mass percent content of copper as the experimental targets to each experimental method for experiment. Conclusion: the best dosage of reagents and copper flotation separation: activator(Na2S) : 150 g/t, foaming agent(C8H18O) : 200 g/t, collector(C4H9OCS2Na) : 200 g/t, the final separation of average quality percentage content of copper in copper concentrate reached 95.99%, has realized the efficient recovery of copper in the old mobile phone’s circuit boards.
