The economic exchanges between China and other countries has been more and more convenient and frequent in recent years,in the international background of economic globalization and with the rapid development of IT technology and transportation capacity. The foreign trade volume is also growing.The goods of foreign trade is mostly transported by shipping,which accounts for more than85%of the Quantum of Foreign Trade. So the maritime transport plays an important role in foreign economic activities.As the distribution center of the maritime transport,the throughput of the ports also increases every year,so does the throughput of the container terminals.As the freight depot and buffer of the container exchange, providing container storage,linking land and sea container transport,the container terminals play an irreplaceable role in the development of urban and regional economic.Under the influence of the container throughput of the CTs increasing year by year and the trend of container ships becoming larger and larger,the work of the container terminals is very busy in all or some working days.So the requirement of the working efficiency is extremely high,which puts forward higher demand for the management level of China’s CTs.To improve the management level and operational efficiency,the CTs need to take full advantage of the machineries and equipments. Container trucks,as the most important handling equipment of the CTs,play a significant role in improving the efficiency of the CTs. Container truck deployment,as an important part of the container terminal coordinated scheduling problem,acts an important role in the optimization of the CTs.The paper mainly studied the route selection problem of container trucks in container terminals.With the influence of quay cranes and yard cranes to container trucks and the complexity of container truck deployment considered,the paper studied the route selection problem of container trucks in the mode of pool strategy and established the container trucks scheduling model targeting the minimum of time.The paper used the model to resolve the container trucks path selection of different ships operated at the same time.Results show that the proposed model solves the route selection problem well and the operation efficiency of the container terminal is improved.
