With the fast development of Chinese economy and the continuous improvementof living standards, more and more patients with disabilities regain health byrehabilitation. In order to improve the efficiency and quality of rehabilitation training,more and more attentions should be paid to rehabilitation training equipment. Withthe application of technology and development of high-tech, the function has slowlyrecovered to meet the needs of patients. However, considering the rehabilitation ofpatients with physical and mental special circumstances, how to ensure the safety andcomfort of the process of rehabilitation, rehabilitation equipment design has becomean urgent problem. Base on the ergonomics knowledge, we come up with the idea ofusing man-machine interfaces to make the rehabilitation science and security. By thisway we provide an new exploration of patients’ rehabilitation.Firstly, this paper compares the differences between existing ordinary fitnessequipment and rehabilitation equipment, and leads to topic of rehabilitation humaninterface. By definition of the man-machine interface, and analysis of existing casesof human-machine interfaces, we summed up the man-machine interface designelements.By expounding ergonomics theories and methods, we make ergonomics analysisand research from the "man","machine","man-machine system" aspects onrehabilitation machine interface. Then we analysis the rehabilitation patients’ physicaland psychological characteristics, analysis the function of rehabilitation traininghuman-machine interfaces. Finally, we achieve a harmony patients, rehabilitationman-machine interface system.We take MOTOmed upper limb rehabilitation training equipment as an example,for stroke patients, we put upper limb rehabilitation training human interface intodesign practice.On the one hand, according to the needs of functional rehabilitation training ofhuman-computer interface design, we make some structure design schemes ofrehabilitation man-machine interface. After analyzing and evaluating the design schemes, we define the structure schemes, which consists of the connect the deviceand safety device. The structure uses a spring steel sheet and fastening tapes, throughfastening tapes mechanical test and structure analysis of motion simulation, verify thefeasibility of structure scheme.On the other hand, carry on the design to the rehabilitation man-machineinterface from the appearance, by analyzing the factors which influence the form ofproducts, such as production, scale, materials and workmanship, color and so on.Combined with the structure above, finally put forward the modeling design schemeof rehabilitation man-machine interface.Through ergonomic specific analysis and research of rehabilitation trainingman-machine interface, embodying the “human-centered” design philosophy, andproviding a new direction for the development of design for rehabilitation trainingequipment. What’s more, the man-machine interface can spread to the simple fitnessequipment, and provide an new way for the patients to solve the present problem ofthe shortage of rehabilitation training equipment.
