Hydraulic cylinder, as one of the important components in the hydraulic system, has been widely applicated in engineering machinery, coal mine machinery job and other working machines,therefore, it is particularly important to accurately obtain performance parameters of the hydraulic cylinder. Pump controlld cylinder test system is a kind of important equipment for performance and quality inspection of hydraulic cylinder, it can be used for hydraulic cylinders’factory inspection and regular fault detection,ect.The pump cylinder test controlling system is introduced, the virtual instruments, the applications of virtual instrument technology in hydraulic and the applications of virtual instrument technology combining with PLC are introduced,the composition and principle of the existing Pump control cylinder test system have been expounded. The existing pump controlled cylinder test control system is as the research object,an overall design scheme that can satisfy the system requirements and is composed of acquisition system and control system has been put forward to. The displacement sensor, pressure sensor, force sensor, data acquisition card, PLC and its special function module in the system have been choosen. A measurement and control system of the test system has been developed using LabVIEW,the system have achieved the function of multi-channel data acquisition, data processing, data storage, alarm and output step signal control, output trapezoidal wave control, etc.With PLC as lower machine, Lab VIEW as the upper machine,using OPC technology to achieve the data communication between them,a measurement and control system using the lower machine and the upper machine combined has been procedured,which PLC is used to complete data collection, LabVIEW is used to complete data processing, display and preservation, etc.The measurement and control system based on LabVIEW and the combination of LabVIEW and PLC has been carried on the experimental analysis through the existing pump controlled cylinder experimental system,the experimental results show that the two sets of the measurement and control system can realize testing parameters of the pump control cylinder such as displacement, stress and load, at the same time it can realize load and speed control of the pump controlled cylinder, and it has the intuitive human-computer interaction interface.The system has established a measurement and control system platform based on LabVIEW and based on LabVIEW and PLC combination for the existing pump controlled cylinder test system.it has certain reference and guidance significance on the development of measurement and control system for similarpump controlled cylinder.
