Electric power is the foundation of the national economy industry, because of the rapid development of economy, affects our standard of living, so the requirement of power quality is becoming more and more high, and the reactive power is one of the important factors that affect the stability of power system set. In order to realize real time compensation of reactive power, through the static reactive compensation device, improve the utilization of electric power.This article first introduces the static reactive power generator project background, function and development of reactive power compensation, as well as domestic and foreign research present situation and so on. The traditional reactive power theory is introduced and the basic concept of instantaneous reactive power theory, and the selection of static reactive power generator voltage type circuit SVG basic working principle is analyzed, p-q of instantaneous reactive power theory, ip-iq、id-iq reactive current detection algorithm is analyzed, the principle of the reactive power compensation because is the premise of reactive current gain, namely, select id-iq method for reactive current detection algorithm in this paper. And control strategy of static reactive power generator SVG are introduced, gives the principle of current indirect control and direct current control, hysteresis comparison method, in the direct current control in voltage space vector method, the principle of triangular wave comparison method has carried on the detailed analysis. In order to improve the control performance of static reactive power generator SVG, this paper selected the triangular wave comparison method of dq axis control method for control strategy of this paper, with the aforementioned reactive current detection algorithm combined, and set up the simulation model, to realize the reactive power compensation. Compensation capacity and set up six kvar,380 v voltage level of compensation device, the hardware circuit of static reactive power generator electrical components selection and the main control circuit, drive circuit, detection circuit, control circuit, over voltage, over current protection circuit and the design of liquid crystal display circuit. Control chip TMS320F28335 is adopted digital signal processor, uses the CCS3.3 development environment for software simulation and hardware debugging, the flow chart is given. Finally the experimental waveforms, with the result of the experiment are analyzed.
