In this thesis, on-board induction motor drive control system are researched on the basisof vector control. Motor drive system is the core of Electric Vehicle. The inverter motordrive unit which is an important part of motor drive system and the vehicle’s power source.The performance of the whole vehicle performance relationship determines whether thevehicle can travel safety on the road. In the inverter drive axle arm is very prone to failurepart. So the research on fault-tolerant control of drive axle arm is of great necessity. Thispaper adopts three-phase four controllable switching fault-tolerant control mode, three-phasefour controllable switches with redundant fault-tolerant, good performance, low costhardware additional.This thesis adopts three-phase induction motor for vector control technology, and thevector technology and analyzing the voltage space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM)are analyzed in detail. According to the results of the open circuit fault diagnosis of inverterinduction motor drive system, which uses three-phase four controllable switchingfault-tolerant control method. On this basis, the vector space voltage pulse width modulationand switching for three-phase four controlled (SVPWM) are studied deeply. Thefault-tolerant condition, the motor speed and the maximum output torque characteristicswhich puts forward some measures for optimization. Based on the DC bus control modeadopts three-phase four controllable switch fault-tolerance of the two capacitor voltageunbalance. A method is proposed can reduce the DC link voltage unbalance which makes thesystem stable operation.Secondly, through the various functional modules, which use Matlab to build thesimulation model of vector control fault-tolerance. Through the experimental results,functional modules build the united simulation experiment, which verify the feasibility offault-tolerant topology with voltage compensation. At the same time, according the DC buscapacitor voltage unbalance problem which build fault-tolerant control simulation model. The experimental results verify the effectiveness and can reduce the DC link voltageunbalance method. The control simulation model can ensure the stable operation of motor.Finally, the drive arm of vehicle induction motor fault-tolerant control system use thejoint simulation of Matlab System Generator and FPGA. Through the experiment of fourswitch three-phase fault-tolerant control system with voltage compensation can realize motorof electric vehicle driving bridge arm control.
