Solar energy aided coal-fired power system manages clean solar energy hybrid with traditional coal-fired thermal power generating units. Replacing some fossil fuels with solar irradiation heat can effectively utilize renewable energy and reduce the capital costs of solar thermal power plant, while reducing the coal consumption of conventional coal-fired power generating process, which are in line with the requirements of the global energy saving and emission reduction trend.This paper focused on the relevant dynamic simulation research of parabolic trough solar vacuum collector and parabolic trough solar field, the main results and innovations are summarized as follows:(1) Based on the structure and characteristics of parabolic trough solar collectors, the photo-thermal energy conversion and transfer process is studied, taking account of the influences on the heat transferring and flow properties when working fluids change temperature, finally a dynamic mathematical solar collector model with multiple heat capacities and changeable physical property is established and verified.(2) Applying the verified dynamic model in the simulation, the static and dynamic operating performances of parabolic trough solar collectors are elaborated when solar irradiation, hot oil temperature, hot oil flow rate, wind velocity, ambient temperature and other factors vary under diverse working conditions.(3) Parabolic trough solar field is built on the STAR-90 simulation support platform, and the layouts of solar field are calculated and simulated under different solar irradiation and hot oil velocities. The total pump power and collecting efficiency are obtained under various operating conditions, then the optimal layout and flow design with the highest the equivalent efficiency are attained.(4)After the parabolic trough solar field coupled with the existing 330MW coal-fired power system through oil-water heat ex-changer, the variation trends of the hybrid system operating parameters are analyzed when the amount of feed-water flowing in the solar field changes. Finally, a sensitivity analysis of the whole hybrid system is conducted when solar irradiation and hot oil flow rate fluctuate.
