Design And Implementation Of Real-time Monitoring System For Substation Operation

Substation operation real-time monitoring system, an important role in the substation automation system, realizing data acquisition, communication, display and control function, is the ultimate realization tool for substation automation system. Large professional monitoring configuration software is expensive, unsuitable for small substation, while general configuration software for small and medium substation is in poor scalability, difficult to adapt to the actual situation. Therefore, the design and development of flexible and efficient substation monitoring system for small and medium substations are of great significance and practical value.On the basis of analyzing the functional, non-functional and database requirements of substation monitoring system, a three-layer system framework is built with a user interface layer, business logic layer and data access layer, and data communication, database, data processing, display interface, COM interface and other functional modules are designed, thus establishing a modular monitoring software system with powerful expansion function that can realize substation telemetry, remote and remote control functions.In the three-layer system framework, user interface layer contains the interface display module, realized based on the.Net framework of C#, is the interface between user and computer; business logic layer contains the main process of the monitoring system, developed by C/C++ language. It realizes various business functions of the substation; data access layer is designed for the data of the entire monitoring system software. It manipulates and stores the data sent from business logic layer in database, using ADO database access technology by C++ language, realizing the communication between the monitoring system and database.A main developing platform established with Visual Studio 2010 using VC ++ as the supporting development language, MYSQL Server as the backend database management platform, and COM technology has achieved flexible call of functional modules, and increased the versatility, maintainability and scalability of the system.In this paper, the substation operation real-time monitoring system has been running tests, the results of which have shown that the system can not only achieve the substation data acquisition, processing, real-time display, report generation and management, alarm and other functions, but also has a feature of high openness and reliability. Therefore, the system has profound significance for the promotion of the level of substation automation and the improvement of reliability and economical operation of the power supply system.
