In all kinds of commonly used road material, curing conditions are mainly aimed at the strength of the development process of material of hydraulic cement like cement concrete, cement stability gravel. The problem of curing condition for asphalt mixture is very rare. To study curing conditions for the stability of asphalt mixture not only for exploring the mixture strength development and change rule, has an important reference value for related test procedures, but also has a positive effect application of warm mix asphalt on the road. The research mainly chooses age and temperature as the curing conditions, and the stability of asphalt mixture mainly inspects Marshall stability(MS) and the rut dynamic stability(DS). Three kinds of bituminous, such as ACMP1 warm bitumen, SBS modified bitumen and 70#classical bitumen are applied to make a type of asphalt mixture AC-13 C, and the MS and DS are measured in laboratory after curing the samples in different ages(1,3,5,7d) and in different temperatures(20,40,60℃).The study shows that the curing condition doesn’t take effect on Marshall stability and rutting dynamic stability of 70# bitumen mixture, but give a significant influence for general modified asphalt mixture(ACMP1 warm mix bitumen and SBS modified bitumen).Curing condition is by influencing the performance of modified agents or existence state to influence the stability of the modified asphalt mixture, and there is almost no effect on the matrix asphalt. In general the Marshall stability and rutting dynamic stability of general modified asphalt mixtures increase with the curing age or the curing temperature and tend to some stable value. In addition, the influence of curing age is more important than the curing temperature. Analysis of test results, found that the stability of SBS modified asphalt mixture is the highest, and the stability of ACMP1 warm mix asphalt mixture is the minimum, but the latter can also reach the standard of arterial highway asphalt pavement in the proper curing conditions.
