Research On Durability Of Fog Seal Technology In Airport Pavement

Asphalt pavement in use, the presence of fine aggregate such as flaw stains damaged, micro cracks, if not promptly treated, water infiltration will accelerate pavement early damage, such damage ubiquitous and occurred earlier, also contributed to the asphalt pavement early one of the main water damage.As a preventive maintenance fog seal layer technology, in recent years gradually it is recognized by everyone and attention. The technology on the road "blood" means to repair the road surface binder adhesion to fill fine cracks and holes, extend the pavement life, and thus enhance the use of quality asphalt pavement.In this paper, the actual requirements of airport pavement, from fog seal layer material to improve the water permeability capability, skid and wear resistance properties were studied, and an airport project carried out by entities engineering verification, proved the technology to meet the Airport construction requires non-stop flight, and be in good condition.
