As the core part of the metro vehicle,the metro bogie plays a good role in promoting the safety and comfort of the metro vehicle. The no-load test platform of the metro bogie is mainly used to confirm whether the bogie in test has reached the running standard or not by no-load test and running-in test.Based on the existed no-load platform for the metro bogie, this paper optimizes the mechanical structure, hydraulic system and redesigns the electronic control system aim at solving the problems exposed in the using process. Finally, this equipment is installed and debugged to achieve all the functions designed.In the mechanical structure part, the author separates the support device and the transmission device to decrease the positive pressure which bogie gives to the drive-wheel, as a result, the load torque reduces and the transmission efficiency improves. This design avoids disabilities of the motor in some frequencies. Otherwise, the author adds a tiny-distance control system to the transmission part, makes a good contact between the bogie’s walking wheels and the capstan, consequently, the influence of bad contact nearly down to zero.In hydraulic system part, the compact control circuit is redesigned because of out-sync of the two compact cylinders. Cascaded cylinders are used to ensure the synchronism.In electronic control system part, The author designs the main circuit, completes the logical control of PLC, and accomplishes the programs to control the transducer by USS, free-port communication, HSC, switch the USS and free-port, otherwise, the author designs the client, accomplishes the communication between the PLC and IPC by using OPC technology, which realizes the interaction control between the upper and lower computers.After finishing all the designs, the equipment is installed and debugged. In the debugging process, the author solves the disability of the USS communication. Voltage compensation is used to ensure the output torque keeps a high level when the motor frequency is low.
