In recent years, computers, electronic information technology advances to promote the rapid development in various fields, also enriches the embedded system to control method of stepper motor. Stepper motor control technology based on embedded systems combined with automation, protection systems of distributed Small Hydropower, making operation of generation simple, realizing little people on duty, improving enterprise management and control capabilities in the power plant.Research and design of the main content of this article is based on the FPGA, ARM Embedded system to control stepper motor. The system is used to monitor a stepper motor in the remote control device. This paper uses ALTERA company EP1C3T144C8N programmable gate array as a stepper motor control module of the main chip; Scheme selection of Each part of the system design is briefly introduced; The design of Some schematic diagram of FPGA control circuit board and PCB board is analyzed.VerilogHDL with a top-down modeling described control processes of stepper motor subdivision control process, composition of each functional module; serial communication between FPGA control board and the ARM systems, the control logic in Modelsim simulation.In the ARM board microprocessor S3C2416, its operating system kernel is Linux3.2. Em-bedded systems dynamically loade to design the serial device driver files, Network interface device drive files, so that ARM Linux kernel data transmission with the external devices. In the ARM Linux system, analyzed the performance of the Boa server, Ajax development model combined with the dynamic Web pages in Boa, reduce client-side Web data traffic and improve response speed. When a client interacts with the embedded Linux systems Boa server information, and working mode of the HTTP protocol and TCP connection process. By ARM Linux system, CGI programs, after operations the directives coming from the client, transmitted control commands to the FPGA board, implementation of embedded system controlled stepper motor.In this paper, the FPGA and ARM embedded control system, through the embedded Web server, with the subdivision control method, make the stepper motor operation of low noise, smooth and high accuracy,in the peripheral environment.
